Just as we learn to talk by imitating, we also learn to play music incorporating the various references that we collect and mix them with our imagination in a constant state of becoming. Labm21 is the consequence of a semiconscious attempt at imitation / integration that starts in the Analysis and Composition Techniques (ATC) classes of the S. José da Guarda Music Conservatory that, in addition to being a meeting place with a large repertoire and the language of different composers, is understood as a space for individual experimentation and expression, without aesthetic restrictions.
