Partner: Casa da Animação Auteur animated films stand out due to their innovative and experimental character. Using more diversified techniques, the respective artists address innovative themes and create amazing stories that evoke both the burlesque and classic universes of film, while appealing to citizenship or projecting dreamlike and magical realities, to the delight of children and families. The Casa da Animação has prepared a programme of Animation Cinema for Serralves em Festa, proposing a series of artistic films. The films include: A Energia Chega para Todos (There’s Enough Energy for Everyone), by José Miguel Ribeiro, Luminaris by Julian Pablo Zaramella, The Giant, by Júlio Vanzeler and Luis da Matta Almeida, Buy Buy Baby, by Gervais Merryweather, O Cágado (The Tortoise), by Luís da Matta Almeida and Pedro Lino, Rising Hope, by Milen Vitanov, Kali, the Little Vampire, by Regina Pessoa, Lion Dance, by Duan Wenkai and Ma Wei Jia, and Macropolis, by Joel Simon.
